Based on a real Shauna story
When all of the Day's light shatters and fills the steel streetlights, the world closes its eyes. All the dreams and recollections of the Day's journeys and letdowns open the void of darkness of the Day's mind. No hate, nor disregard, just the emptiness of time is the space. The night floods the thoughts of Day and becomes one with the empty.
As the moon reveals its dark side, the Day wakes up, anew. His mind is a mess, he tosses the cover of darkness over his backside and rises. He remembers the night as beauty, touching the void of nothing. And he smiles.
The shade breaks, his earth quakes, and all is left with the light of Day.
Best night of my life.
