When I've got your back

Saturday, November 11, 2006

So the day is dull, and the air is cold.
And the hope is dead and bloated.
Her mind just falls, Only time to stall
Glazed with tears, eyes sugarcoated

What can one do but talk to you?
What can one say, but it's okay?

So have a good night, and sleep tight,
Let the dreams cover your cares
The melancholy only lasts
Until you break your fast
And a new day is dawning.

So past all the vague rhyme-schemes and thwarted metaphors, I'd just like to lend a hand. Please, everyone that cares about the truth and how it affects the people in your life, the ones you are closest to, think. Just think. For a handful of love and a bucket full of hate is worth the same in an Portland grocery store.
